PR COMMITTEE
Carry the message to other seeking recovery
Public relations within PIR® is guided by our primary purpose of carrying the message of recovery. PIR® seeks to communicate with care, clarity, and humility, placing principles before personalities. Through thoughtful communication, collaboration, and community outreach, we help share PIR’s mission, values, and service opportunities with clarity, integrity, and alignment to our guiding principles.
Our Current Projects
De Vine newsletter was launched in January 2026. The monthly format allows us to follow the 12 spiritual principles and to update our fellows regularly on what the committees are up to.
We are exploring festivals and gatherings where PIR could host meetings or recovery centered spaces. If you know of an event that feels aligned and are planning to attend (large or small), we’d love to hear about it.

PIR Integration Radio will be launching its first series of “Journeys of healing “, interviews of PIR about their experience of psychedelics in recovery soon! Keep your ears to the ground…

About Us
The PR Committee is a trusted servant group within the PIR® service structure dedicated to communication, awareness, and public interface. Our role is to support PIR’s growth and service by sharing accurate information about PIR’s recovery-focused mission, service opportunities, and fellowship resources with broader communities — including members, professionals, partners, and the public.
We are not a marketing team — we are a service committee, rooted in the Twelve Step ethos of honesty, humility, and service. Our work reflects PIR’s values: to carry the message, uphold anonymity, and support recovery journeys.
Mission Statement
Our Purpose & Mission
The PR Committee exists to:
- Clarify PIR’s Purpose: Explain who we are as a recovery fellowship that integrates 12-Step principles and mindful engagement with psychedelics as one potential tool in recovery.
- Share Information Responsibly: Ensure that PIR’s voice in the world is accurate, respectful, and aligned with our recovery purpose — neither promoting substances nor encouraging illegal activity.
- Support Access to Recovery Resources: Facilitate access to PIR service information, meeting resources, educational materials, and opportunities to serve.
- Connect with Communities & Partners: Build bridges with individuals, support networks, allies in recovery, and recovery-oriented organisations who share a common interest in compassionate support and healing, whilst practising tradition 6
- Promote Awareness of PIR Fellowship: Increase awareness of PIR’s existence, structure, and service opportunities while honouring anonymity and avoiding controversy.
