Carry the message to other seeking recovery
PIR®’s 12-Step Committee is finalizing a book that unpacks PiR®’s 12 recovery Steps. PiR® is diverse: we are people who suffer from addiction, compulsion, codependency, over-functioning, rescuing—different outsides, similar insides. We’re writing these steps for anyone tired of cycles that cost integrity, peace, or a sense of self.

About Us
The 12-Step Committee is a trusted servant committee within the PIR® service structure dedicated to writing a recovery program, specifically for the diverse fellowship of PIR®. Our committee has worked diligently to understanding PIR®’s various backgrounds of addictive or co-addictive patterns. Our job has been to listen carefully, write clearly, and keep returning to the basics—humility, honesty, willingness, amends, prayer/meditation, and service—while making the path more usable for people who want an alternative to traditional steps.
Mission Statement
The 12-Step Committee is writing a 12-step program for people in the PIR® fellowship who want to address their addictive and other problematic behaviors and who feel more at home in PIR® than in other fellowships for which they may otherwise qualify.
